Sea trout fishing
On 1 April, the sea trout season kicks off on Sweden’s west coast. Havstensfjorden is a popular spot for fishing.
Between 1 April and 30 September, it is sea trout season here in Bohuslän, and of course you are very welcome to come and fish with us. Sea trout is a delicious fish for the table, and you can cook it right on the beach over an open fire.
In our service building, there is a kitchen that makes it easy and convenient to take care of your catch. You are welcome to book a camping pitch, a cabin, or simply visit us as a day guest.
You are also welcome to visit some of our colleagues, Surfviken or Anfasteröds Gårdsvik, who also offer sea trout fishing.
If you are new to sea trout fishing, here are a few rules to be aware of:
- When fishing with rod and line, you may keep up to two salmon or trout per person per day.
- Trout measuring under 45 centimetres must be released back into the water immediately and handled with care.
- Using nets in waters shallower than 3 metres is not permitted between 1 October and 30 April.
- Trolling is not permitted within protected zones designated for sea trout.
