FAQ

Booking rules

Please read the booking rules carefully before making a reservation. If you have any questions about the booking rules, you are always welcome to contact the reception.

When is a booking binding?
The reservation is binding as soon as it is confirmed, orally or in writing, regardless of whether you pay anything at that time or, in the case of an online booking, as soon as you have confirmed and paid in full or in part.

Important! Please check carefully that all details and dates are correct when you receive your booking confirmation/invoice. In case of any errors, contact the facility immediately. Bring the confirmation/invoice and receipt of payment upon arrival.

Payment
Reservations must be paid in full prior to arrival. 20% of the amount is paid immediately at the time of booking (for reservations done via telephone, 20% is paid against invoice within ten days). The remaining amount must be paid no later than 40 days before arrival.

In case of a late payment
You risk having your booking cancelled and being liable to pay the prescribed cancellation charges.

Changing the reservation
Changes to reservations are made by phone, e-mail, or mail no later than 7 days before arrival and cost 300 kr per change. However, no refunds will be made if changes to the reservation are made later than 40 days before arrival. In the event of a rebooking, the cancellation insurance will not be carried over from the previous booking, and no money will be refunded in the event of a cancellation.

Cancellation
You can cancel orally or in writing to the establishment. Please note that unannounced late arrival or early departure is considered a cancellation. In case of cancellation earlier than 40 days before arrival, all but 20% of the booking amount will be refunded. If you cancel less than 40 days before arrival, no refunds will be made, except in some cases if you have purchased cancellation insurance, see below.

Cancellation insurance
Cancellation insurance can be purchased for 295 kr per cabin or camping pitch. Cancellation insurance does not apply to school trips, groups, and seasonal camping. Cancellation insurance can only be booked at the time of the initial booking. It cannot be purchased retrospectively. For bookings containing several cottages or pitches, the name for each purchased cancellation insurance must be indicated. Cancellation insurance applies to cancellations due to a serious illness or accident affecting a family member or a fellow traveler. A copy of a medical certificate or certificate from an insurance company or other authority should be sent to the establishment. Thereafter, the money paid for the reservation will be refunded, except for the administration fee of 500 kr and the cancellation insurance of 295 kr. Cancellation insurance is valid until 24 hours before the arrival date.
